Applicant who interviewed six other coaches

  I would have not been accepted without working with Monica. I encourage everyone to do their due diligence, but Monica must be someone you at least have a conversation with! I was referred to Monica by a trusted friend who worked with her and recommended her wholeheartedly. Nonetheless, I still did some due diligence and interviewed 6 other firms/consultants. During that process, I realized that the very first things that need to take place are a) having rapport and b) someone who believes in your potential/storyline. I opted to work with Monica because not only did we build rapport, also: 1. As an older applicant, she identified the importance of telling my whole, authentic story 2. Her warm personality and absolute professionalism 3. Her broad experience helping candidates into top schools As we worked together, I appreciated: – The process/timeline she built for ME – Her talent (really magic) for providing feedback about my essays – How I felt that I had someone who was really in my corner, putting forth her best effort throughout the entire process. I was understandably anxious while waiting for admission outcomes, but I knew that no matter the outcome, I had presented the best me to the programs – and that peace was priceless!
